The next season of The Block has reportedly been pushed back due to a planning permit delay for the South Gisborne ‘farm’ project.

According to The Herald Sun, a permit freeze has delayed production by several weeks, meaning the cast and crew will have to build over the winter.

“We’ve had a bit of a backlog with the permits,” The Block executive producer Julian Cress told the publication on Sunday.
