Tattoo repairers’ ‘Jay Hutton returns to old job at McDonald’s’ after quitting show
The move comes after Jay, 27, unexpectedly quit E4 Tattoo Fixers last year.
Jay partnered with his old workplace to promote employment in the fast food chain.
Working a shift at his local restaurant, the star thanked his former managers for giving him the confidence he needed to become a tattoo artist.
He said: “Working at McDonald’s has given me life-long skills that have helped me on my path to becoming an entrepreneur.
“McDonald’s was my first job and it gave me the tools and the confidence to start my own business.
“It might not be a skill that I use yet, but I’m especially happy to say that I could still create a Big Mac perfectly!”
Having been on the E4 show since 2015, fans were disappointed to learn that he dropped out of filming last March.
The blue-eyed artist admitted he wanted to step out of the limelight and grew increasingly tired of the intensity of celebrity lives.
Speaking to the Daily Post last year, he said, “I’ve been on the show since the very beginning and it’s been amazing. I have met some great people and made lifelong friendships.
“However, I just thought it was the right time for me to make a change and move on.”
Before adding: “It was a crazy race, but very pleasant and my life has changed dramatically.
“I went from the normal day-to-day life of my business, Adreneline Tattoo Studio in Ellesmere Port, to signing autographs and being on red carpets.”
Since leaving the show he has been focusing on his own business and spending time with his new wife – gorgeous personal trainer Monica Rose Hutton.
After getting engaged in 2016, the lovebirds tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last April.
