Prime Kapital, one of Central and Eastern Europe’s largest property developers, investors and operators, has received planning permission for Pleiades Residence in Ploiesti, which would be the city’s first ‘car-free’ and green project, and will begin construction by late spring.

The Pléiades residence is the residential component consisting of 498 apartments and more than 400 parking spaces in the outdoor multi-level car park and is part of a larger urban regeneration project developed by Prime Kapital on the old platform ” Uzina 1 Mai” and will have direct access to the recently completed Prahova Value Centre. The centre, which opened in December 2021, will expand further with an exciting open-air food market and a leisure offer including restaurants and cafes which will have direct openings and access to the large green spaces which will be developed. as part of the landscape of the Résidence Pléiades project.

The residential complex will offer 17 varieties of different units, from double studios to 2, 3 and 4 rooms, including duplexes and penthouses. The completion date of the first phase is estimated at December 2023 with an overall project investment costing more than 30 million euros. The new urban hub is based on an innovative concept, which includes secondary services and functions in addition to the two primary components, commercial and residential, to create a modern and lively urban community that will become a municipal landmark in the future.

Pleiades Residence was developed to the highest nZEB (Nearly Zero-Energy Building) sustainability and energy efficiency standards.

The Residence Pléiades complex will be the only one in Ploiești to benefit from a well-thought-out landscaping project including robust plants and tree species and will bring long-term benefits to the city. The Résidence Pléiades, designed by the ADNBA studio, has a total area of ​​18,400 square meters, of which nearly 50% is dedicated to car-free public green spaces.

Pleiades Residence and Prahova Value Center are connected to the city by a network of streets and ramps already developed by Prime Kapital, after an investment of 2.8 million euros. Thus, the company created a public circulation solution under the existing bridge, a ramp to connect the parking lot to the bridge, and a two-lane street with sidewalks and cycle paths, which connects Lupeni Street and Andrei Ioachimescu Street. to Semenicului Street and then Democrației Street.
