Justin Fields shared a post with Bears fans who were “disrespectful” to Andy Dalton
Andy Dalton, who the Chicago Bears signed as a free agent in the offseason, is currently the starting quarterback in preseason games. He’s also set to start the season, which is already starting to annoy Bears fans. During this weekend’s game at Soldier Field, fans chanted “We want fields!” During the first half as Dalton was under center leading the team against the Buffalo Bills.
The chants were quite overwhelming.

Rookie superstar Justin Fields then addressed those chants, along with fans booing Dalton
Via Pro Football Talk:
“I noticed it, of course. The fans are great, but they also have to realize that Andy is a human being too. Andy is on the pitch right now, so I really think it’s a little disrespectful to Andy, that they are clapping my name like that. They need to trust the coach to make sure he is making the right decisions and to cheer on Andy. It doesn’t help Andy play better, they applaud my name. It’s not that. So I would tell them that my advice would be fair to encourage those who play on the field. “

This is great leadership.
This kid seems to be the real deal. It’s only a matter of time that he’ll be the guy.
Bear fans should be patient.
