The value of building permits in September rose again in Red Deer.

According to a statement from the City of Red Deer, as of last month there were 112 permits approved worth $9 million, compared to 77 permits issued in September 2021 worth $3.9 million.

Year-to-date building permit values ​​remain higher in 2022, with current values ​​of $138 million, up from $87 million last year.

In August, there were 97 approved permits worth $23 million.
