Effective September 26, Emmanuelle Picard is appointed EVP of Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s Building Materials Division and a member of the management team.
With a multi-year career in the building materials industry, Emmanuelle is well equipped to lead the newly created division and pursue Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s strategic objectives. She joins the company directly from the position of General Manager of Wipak’s plastic packaging business. She previously worked at Saint Gobain, Imerys and ITW Construction, clearly illustrating her profile as highly experienced in a B2B environment with sustainability ambitions.

Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s strategic ambition for 2025 is to become the leader in combining fibers into performance materials that serve the company’s goal of purifying and protecting, with every fiber, for a sustainable world.
As of July 1, the Group will serve five growing and distinctive end markets to further strengthen its competitive advantages and increase value creation for its stakeholders. The five divisions are: Filtration, Food and Consumer Packaging, Healthcare, Building Materials and Engineering Materials. The divisions will be supported by global functions and centers of excellence for scale, synergies and excellence.
